Eyup,

I recently upgraded my old set up and slapped in a 2060 super along with a few other bits, my old monitor was a 27" one I imported from korea a few years ago and whilst it's still working fine it has no hdmi ports and my new card has no DVI ports. My partner has given me a "talk" about having the computer plugged into the living room TV so now I'm in need of a monitor.

I'm a little out of the game though so I'm not too sure on what's hot and what's not. I'm initially thinking of a budget between £100 - £150 but could be persuading to wait on a go a little higher. I'm not massively fussed for getting a 27" monitor again, if it's going to be a play off over size and quality I'd sooner get a higher quality 24" screen!

Thanks in advance!

You can get DisplayPort to DVI adapters. OCUK sell them.

Don't know why I didn't think of this, I have a cheap hdmi to dvi cable but I've had no luck getting it to work and I tried a dvi to hdmi adapter in back of the monitor but again had no luck...all pointing to the ports on the monitor been a bit iffy

Never thought of adapting at the pc port though, I'll give it a shot...hopefully save me dropping all the coin on a new monitor!
