Spec me a new NAS

Hi folks,

Well after my IcyBox 4220-B decided to once again nuke the contents of my drives, I'm after something that isn't a great big pile of turd. What do the good people of OcUK suggest? Need something with Gigabit and would like the ability to stream video to my PS3 from it. As close to £200 as possible please, suggestions? Cheers.

Hi - I have the same question - I have been looking at various NAS drive but would like some real hand on suggestions if anyone has one

LOL on the description of the 4220-B.

£200 is a bit tight to work with, but the QNAP 209 (if you want 2 drives) is solid and dependable. Issue with quick transfers though as it's only got a 500MHz processor (I think), move to the 509 you get a 1.6GHz but that costs £££. My QNAP 201 is dated now, slow-ish, but never let me down.
