Spec Me a Bundle

Ok it is that time for me to start thinking about a up grade for my PC

I will be keeping my PSU, Antec P182 case & fans etc, my GPU is MSI GTX 560 Ti plus have already purchased a 120GB SSD

I would like to have 12GB RAM, an Intel CPU i5, and use my water cooling set up as well.

My rig is used for gaming like BF3 and my love of photography and videoing.
And of course I am one of those people who has to over clock the system just because it is there,..lol !

What PSU do you Have?

You say you'll use your water cooling setup? What does that consist of, Will your waterblock fit a 1155 socket?

My PSU is a Tagen 550 watt.

I know it is close to limit on paper it every thing on the rig was working at max speed.
However that is unlikely and so far I have had no problems.

What exact model?

Wouldn't risk running a decent setup on a PSU which could go bang at any time

why the ram at 1333mhz? i would go for atleast 1600mhz

I would like 1600mhz RAM as this set up will have to see through for a few years !

Its quiet expensive but you said you wanted lots of RAM so I have chosen 16GB 1600MHz. You also said you wanted to do some video stuff (Not sure if you meant editing as well) So I have chosen an i7. The intel cooler isn't essential but it looks awesome. The motherboard will do you fine.

Tagans are generally decent power supplies but if it's pretty old then may be worth replacing, but 550W will be fine even with an overclocked CPU and GTX560Ti.

The i7 will help with rendering and editing if the programmes you use can utilise hyperthreading so worth reading up on that. Obviously the i5 will save you a little bit money if you decide that you don't need hyperthreading.
