Ah the joys, my pc turned off tonight never to turn back on, I haven't done any testing just yet but its as dead as a dodo and looks like the psu has given up. I will test it later and make sure. In the mean time I need to be looking towards what psu to buy. The one I had was an OCZ 850 watt it had died once before back in 2007 but I got it replaced.

My spec is

Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Intel Z68
Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor
Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
Corsair Force Series 3 120GB SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Drive
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB
Gainward GeForce GTX 570 Phantom 1280MB GDDR5

There is no overclocking done and I didn't really wanna Pay anymore than £100

Thanks in advance

Well you don't have to spend as much as £100 but in case you ever wanted to add another 570 I went for this:

If you're 100% you won't do SLI then a good brand (corsair, antec,XFX,OCZ,Seasonic) 600w will suffice nicely and would cost you around £60-£70 depending on the unit. Such as:

Hi there, thanks for the reply. I think I will want to add another 570 at some stage but looking at reviews etc of the xfx 750 xxx it seems people are saying about a weird clicking noise it makes ? Is this a issue or not?

Go for the XFX 850 XXX instead, it's cheaper at the moment and if I listen to mine I hear .... not a lot :D

This. By far the best PSU i've ever owned. I'd rank OCZ just below the other brands mentioned by GZA so maybe avoid them again unless there's a particularly good deal.
