Spec me a new server

We are in a process of renewing our IT systems and we need a new server by the looks of things, it will be used for

1) Data Storage - Word docs, document scans, pictures etc.
2) Sage 200 - This runs on SQL so I believe I will need to buy SBS premium.

That is all that it will be used for.

There will be 4 users accessing the system immediately, however we would like the scope for the addition of a further 4 users, total eight users.
The main thing would be using Sage 200 on SQL. There will be no exchange or anything like that.

Ideas?

OK, I knew that much, any ideas on spec etc?
Or even a specific model?

hmm maybe £1k + VAT,
Storage is around 150gig or so, we currently use 40 gb

Indeed, I think 3k is above budget, 1.2k really is the max excl software.

I could upgrade my poweredge 2800, Could I add a dual core processor to work alongside a single core/

OK, Can I install 2 dual core processors, I bought this one because it had upgrade potential,, not much point in wasting it
