After days of trying to get my NetGear WN311B PCI card to work on 64-bit Windows 7, I'm finally giving up. They clearly don't think many people are installing such a rare OS.

Can someone please spec me a network card (not USB). I'm using Virgin Media's 50meg, so I'm looking for an N. I'm not looking for the cheapest available, either. I will be using it for gaming, and my PC is upstairs from the wireless router.

Obviously, I'm not looking for a NetGear replacement. They are not getting any more money from this debacle.

Cheers. I notice a couple of the reviews on this site for the Edimax (the 7727, though) also mention Netgear's lack of drivers for their W7 users.

I am EXTREMELY irritated with them at the moment.

Cheers, guys. I eneded up getting the Edimax 7727In, as that was what OC were selling.

What swung it for me, once I had your advice, was the amount of people saying it worked out of the box for them in Windows 7 64-bit. I am never buying a Netgear product again. (It was a gift, and unreturnable).
