Hey, I'm looking for a Netbook mainly to programme and browse the web. I would like to spend no more than £300, £250 would be ideal but if the difference is a lot more, I'd be willing to pay the extra.

Can anyone help pick out an ideal netbook? Thanks. :)

Yeah sorry I meant to say Netbook. :D

But, if theres a better spec small, portable laptop for around the same price, I'd be interested in that aswell.

Eeepc 901 9" (size and battery)
Samsung NC10" (allrouder)
Lenovo S10 (build quality and style)

they all have pretty much the same internal hardware so really either one of them you cant fail.. i got the 2gb ram upgrade for mine for only £14 extra.
Also i took the large 160gb harddrive over the SSD as it just makes sense to have loads of stuff on your mobile mini pc. Luckily that can be upgraded also in future.

google for some reviews and pictures and see if one grabs your fancy :)

I think i'm going to go with the NC10, does OcUK offer an option to upgrade it when you buy it, or would you have to do that manually yourself?

i suggest you ask this question on the samsung NC10 long thread im sure of the NC10 users can help you on that one ... enjoy your netbook when you get it :D
