Hi guys sadly my laptop and pc are both dieing at the same time lol.

So onto the pc. Its 5 and half years old my spec sheet is below if anything is salvagable if not my budget is £1100. I just want something that will do me for another 5 years, that runs like butter.

Mainly used for music production and general work based and the odd gaming world of warcraft diablo 3. I did want to switch to an imac but the cost is the only issue. I could go refurbished but there base model gpu i dont like :(

If someone could do me a list of the best components for £1100 id be grateful. Im too out of touch with todays hardware lol

my old spec sheet

Doe your Titna Fenrir have the socket 1156/55 fitting kit?

This is something that came with them later in the production run.

Fine,

The motherboard has a 5 year warranty if you register it and also a free upgrade within 3 yrs - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18631511

The GFX card runs at 0db when doing nothing, it will play all games at 1080P resolution of your monitor.

The Noctua cooler is the quietest cooler I have ever had (i've had a lot;))

You can keep your case/PSU+DVD drive.

considering my psu is 5 and half years old do you recommend replacing that also?

How long do they tend to last. And is the 650w fine for those kind of builds?

it should be okay.
iirc, the old corsair TX is a seasonic psu
and 650w is fine, even if you take capacitor degradation into account

Think id rather get a new psu and case tbh so its all fresh and new. Easy to keep this as a spare pc then.

Case Ill go for the Phanteks Enthoo Pro Mid Tower

What psu can you recommend?

Also would it be best to go for a single 512gb corsair ssd instead of the 212gb and 1tb drive. As I dont tend to clog up my pc. Would that increase speed all over?

Or is a 212gb and 1tb hd a better option.

I would switch Tamzzy build to a 780 and try setting up a hackinstosh. From some reading I've done its not too bad if your have a NV gpu and a gigabyte motherboard, they might not be full support for devils canyon yet.
