Not to mention the 1250w PSU you have spec'd.

I believe this supply has 93A on the 12 volt rail ! Now thats a beast I know BUT the op did say he wanted the best he could get for the money so why would I spec a power supply that was just ok ???????????

He's budgetted for it tho and wants best spec for his money.
That's fair enough, but have you explained to him that a £2500 rig isn't going to be twice as powerful as a £1250 rig? It might not even be 1.5 times as powerful, if we are talking about gaming.
Law of diminishing returns you see. Don't get me wrong, if I had £2500 to blow, I'd want a super duper ePeen PC, but it won't exactly be bang for your buck...

i totally agree a £2500 pc will definitely not be twice as good as a £1250 pc ! BUT it will be better! I just dont think we need to insult the ops intelligence and point this out repeatedly though as he is probably aware of this ! And lets remember overclockers do list systems for twice this budget so its not that crazy is it !

Well all have failed other than acid, 2k to spend on a media/gaming machine for the front room and your all speccing crappy full tower cases!

Spending 2k+ i would deffo want something classy like a Mcubed case http://www.hfx.at/ or one of silverstones HTPC cases.
