Spec me a pc for £600 pretty please

Hey guys (and girls) im building a rig for a mate and im after a setup that will play the latest games at a fairly decent level.

He already has monitor, mouse, keyboard etc so I just need a spec for the tower please.

I am also willing to overclock

You might be happy to overclock but are they happy for you to do it? This could be ok but I've had to compromise by getting only 1gb Ram also a couple of parts are This Week Only so will probably go back up in price. You can just about get 2gb into the budget but that means going with a 3000 Venice in place of the 3700 San Diego which brings up the overclocking issue

Good solid spec in a decent case with good overclock potential. If you can't stretch that far then a Antec SLK3000B Midi Tower Case - No PSU (CA-027-AN) will get you in budget but having just taken delivery of a PC7+ well worth the money.
