I am looking to buy a new computer purely for gaming. I have roughly £850-900 to spend but I'm mostly looking for value for money. I also need an OS, keyboard, mouse, and monitor. I want the monitor to be 24". I am prepared to overclock the graphics card and processor.
Any help much appreciated
Thanks in advance

Wow great spec there...

Personally if i had the money i'd spend a bit more on a better looking case :P

Got nothing against it, it's just not the prettiest case out there ^^

I'm thinking about buying that build, what case would you suggest Tibbz2?

Well for a bit cheaper the Antec 300 or Zalaman Z9 Plus, both @ £50ish

For around the same price some of the other Coolermaster cases (like the Storm Scout, CM-690II Lite, or the Storm Enforcer)

And there are quite a few more expensive nice cases.

If you were looking at the High Air Flow cases though, the 922 or 932 look a bit nicer imo.

thanks tibbz, what do you think of the Antec 100 One Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case - Black in the second build..
Also would you suggest more RAM with the first build? I dont really know much about it all so any advice would be amazing.

Both the Antec 100 and 300 cases are very nice, and have a good rep. It's just a matter of which you prefer the specs and look of ^^

Also 4GB RAM is enough for every game, there is no need to go any higher for gaming atm. However you can easily upgrade with another 4GB kit when needed ;)

Here you go fella

Buy an LED monitor from somewhere else. Dont get the one you put in your shopping list!

There is also another popular computer parts site which we use which i think has better deals at the moment with i5 bundles so you might wanna check that out?

Win 7 HP was going for £50 about a day ago. (Not on here)

Maybe overclockers should check out the competition and reduce their prices!
