Hi, looking for a PC for my niece and nephew
They will use it for studies and play some games.

It wont be overclocked as i wont always be around to do settings and stuff.

I tried to spec but keep puting stuff that i'd buy on the budget

No software/windows needed

19" monitor and printer needed.

this is what i came up with, it was under 600 inc VAT and del.

This includes a better graphics card but is otherwise fairly similar to what you had there, if you need it to be under £600 then you could drop the CPU to an E6550.

hey cheers,

thought 8600GT where pretty good.

wouldnt the asus mobo be better?

as i see it now the one i spec'd looks like a better deal or am i missing something (i been out of the scene for months)

The 3850pro is significantly better in graphics card terms, the 8600GT is low-mid range, the 8600GTS would compare better with the 3850pro but it is still slower and almost the same price.

Not really on the Asus motherboard, it is an older chipset, the 650 SLi is still decent enough but it is getting on a bit now. For your uses it will be fine though.

Also you aren't buying from OcUK there so I don't know exactly what that build would cost from wherever you are buying it from.

i got that quote from some where else, i dont mind where i buy if the price is right, i normally buy from OCuk but i made that quote few weeks back.

will order something by end of this week as they need it for school work, but nephew aways asking me to show him games on my rig ;)

Most of the items quoted here are cheaper because of this week only offer.

Do buy it before Wednesday...
