I need something like the PS3 pad, but without the wireless feature / motion sensing (and ideally with rumble).
I've always loved my old PS2 pad that I used with the PC, but it has now died and I'm looking at getting a pad with pressure triggers (like ps3 and 360) .. BUT it MUST have the primary control as the D-pad for the left hand (like PS3 and NOT LIKE the 360 which has analog).

The pad must also be WIRED

Just some names would do, dont need anyone breaking forum rules by naming competitors, if I got pad models I can find them myself :)

EDIT: I'm also looking for something PS2 size/shape as I found them ideal

The 360 pad does have the dpad on the left, but admitedly it isn't in the main area. Tbh you wont find many other pads better than the 360 pad for the PC

I love my 360 pads, I don't have a 360, just bought them for PC use.

You wont regret them, and they're on secondhand for a tenner in MM.

Yer, the 360 pad is an option, but I dunno :(
I've always prefered the size and feel of the PS2 pad, however now I want to "finally" have pressure triggers like the 360 lol

Before I bought my 360 console I had the controllers for my pc :D They make it so much easier!

I wouldn't bother looking at anything else tbh... But I know thats just my preference

Thing is though, I've ALWAYS been a huge fan of the PS pad (both 1, 2 and now 3), however as always no-one ever made a good copy of it for the PC (the Logitech copies kinda suck) so I always had to use the ghetto method of using a normal pad with the adapter.

The only thing the 360 pad has going for it is the pressure triggers, which the PS3 pad also has (but which no decent PC pad seems to have)
