Hey guys.

Im looking to build a small form factor pc for general office work, reviews ect dont want to spend a lot, need os and word ect so what can you spec for me? i would fancy a prodigy case though.

So... this is what I got... I am going to ask other people how they feel about the only ITX AMD board on OC to be used with one of the new Kaveri chips, but the as far as intel goes... this should do...

Get a NUC. Simple as. An i3 Haswell one should be powerful enough for any office work you care to throw at it. Much cheaper and lower power consumption than anything mentioned above.

I'd take Doomspeed's spec, dump the optical drive, swap the Barracuda for a 2.5" laptop version and wrap it all in an Antec ISK 110 instead of the Lian Li (thereby negating the PSU too).

Lovely case - running a Windows 2008 server off a Sandy Bridge Pentium G840 with 2 drives in that case and it's silent with some good grunt behind it (had to do some Photoshop and web work on it when the main rig and Macbook Air were undergoing changes).

As it's for office work I'd even drop down to a Haswell i3 or even Pentium to save more on money, power and heat.
