Hi guys,

I'm looking at some new hardware, but am currently not clued up about what to get etc.

Looking at:
Motherboard
CPU
2 gig ram
Fast hard disk
graphics card (nothing special but somethign that will enable Vista to operate at its best. needs dual output.)

Any advice on what to go for at the moment would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Mal

Umm,

up to about £100 on the board, £140ish on the grapgics card, not too bothered about cost of cpu and ram, when i know what board i'm getting then i'll decide on the CPU.

Hard drive, i'll prob go for a raptor (are they still fastest?)

That will be DirectX 10 cards & non are out yet. A DX9 card will work with Vista, but recommend 256MB GDDR3 & above
