Yo,

AFter getting a X1950Pro for my AGP system, and it not working, I've decided to go for a full new rig.

Budget is £800 - £900, although the cheaper the better - I already have a hard-drive and DVD-writer.

The PC needs to be a Conroe system with 2GB of RAM. I'm going to use a X1950 Pro 512mb, as I'll upgrade when DX10 is mainstream!
So far:

Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (£152.74)
Antec P180 Advanced Super Midi Tower Case - No PSU (Silver) (£91.64)
TOTAL: £244.38

So that's some £600 to play with!

If you going to be using your existing Hardrive/s, Monitor, Optical drives etc then I sugggest the following,



Edit - just a thought, you may want to confirm your choosen PSU reaches all the relivent connectors on the motherboard as because of the way the P180 is designed it can sometimes be problematic.

That's a nice setup, if you have spare cash I'd go for P5B-Deluxe with Crucial Anniversary.
