Spec me a pc

Well it's about that time where I've got some spare cash and have decided to upgrade my pc.

I've got about £1500 to spend, on a gaming rig.

and the list of things that I need are as follows:

Motherboard
Processor
RAM
Graphics Card

I think thats the main things though off the top of my head.

Any help is appreciated.

Is it worth going sli/crossfire atm as I'm trying to build it to last a year or two.
I suppose I should say I'm also looking at overclocking potential.

Right to clear things up, I already have the:

Monitor
Keyboard + mouse
Case (although may change this)
Speakers
Headset
Hard Drives

And yes I'm looking to possibly overclock this system.
