Hi there,
I want to get something that is has completely non moving parts and doesn't make any noise what-so-ever to download for me whilst I sleep. That's all it will be doing.
Someone in another thread suggested a PDA, which I am thinking is a great idea as they aren't too expensive and they are tiny and I am right in assuming they have no moving parts (fans, hard drives..etc...) aren't I? So they will be noiseless.
Basically, they are all HTTP downloads, although torrents would be nice, I don't think it will be possible - will it?
I want it to have a download manager on it too, but I want to be able to add links to the queue from my PC - is there any software that does this? If not, Windows Mobile has support for the Compact Framework (.NET) does it? - So I could create a download manager application for it that does what I want?
Also, I have checked and most PDAs come with Wireless B integrated if they have wireless. I have wireless G here and was wondering, with wireless B, will it max out my connection? 200Kbps is my connection maxed out.
So what PDA do you recommend considering I want this for a cheap as possible, preferably with an SD card slot so I can add cards to transfer the files to the PC when downloaded. I WILL be buying second hand as it will be cheaper probably.
Thanks.
