Spec me a Pen Drive

I am after a new pen drive, capacity should ideally be 4GB+

Essentially I am after something

Tough
Relatively Small
Can be used as a keyring
Capless

My research has led me to

My last one became faulty, as it sits with my car keys, the keys damaged the sliding mechanism.

The downside of the Pretec is, its quite expensive.

Anyone suggest another one?

Would recommend any of the SanDisk range, really well built drives in my experience.

That's exactly the one I broke, somehow my keys damaged the little white sliding mechanism.

It was a black one though.

I have a Patriot 8gb. Really tough and sturdy, covered in rubber, but has a cap, so probably not what your after.

These are pretty good... Come in a 4Gb Flavour and are pretty hardy!!..

Yes to the supertalent pico. Smallest usb drive I have ever used & fits perfectly on my keyring.
Downsides are its a bit slow & you do pay a premium for it.

i have a cruiizer and even though the drive is great as a key ring it really wasn't that good kept falling of

Used to carry my pendrive on a set of keys until the weight, over many months, bent the plug-in part. Bye-bye pendrive

Had the Sandisk Cruzer Titanium on the keys for 2 years now. Scratched up bad but still working well. Had to get a tougher coil(?) on the thing though as the original one didn't last that long.

I have a titanium as well, but it comes with that pos software that is hidden in an inacessable area of memory, the rom I imagine, so you can't get rid of it.

Would that be U3? If so you could use the U3 uninstaller and the HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool.
