spec me a photo printer

looking for a photo printer/ all in one machine, looking at canon's pixma MP460 at ~£70, can i get better for the money?

I would say its a good choice. Get a canon or a hp one can`t go far wrong with them.

the epson picturemate 100/500/240/280 has a very high dpi (dots per square inch) so the picture resolution is quite good with those, although they are not quite as compact as the hp

sorry, just re-read the question, my suggestions were compact photo printers, but point still stands if not the right model numbers! lol!

Had nothing but trouble with a epson printer i used to own! I now have a hp all in one printer and i am very happy with it. As said in my previous post get a canon or hp.

Anything Canon is awesome. Avoid Epson like the plague.

No experience of canon printers myself. but have heard they are very good!
Definately stay away from epson.

I've had 3 Epson's and they all screwed up on me. Would never buy again. Have a Canon Pixma 5000 now and it's been perfect. Would highly recommend Canon to anyone.
