Hey guys,

Looking to build a media server/hub for Plex to sit under my TV in the front room.

Small, sleek and silent is the aim of the game here.

Some basic graphics wouldn't go amiss, but I don't want to sacrifice size or noise for it.

Not looking to spend a great deal either, so best bang for buck, possible for under £300. Already have a 5TB external HDD so only need enough room for OS and basics.

Cheers.

How's this look? No discreet GPU, but iGPU has been plenty for HTPC use for years now:

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £297.04
(includes shipping: £11.10)

Only single stick of 8gb ram as only 2 slots on the board - will allow you to upgrade to 16gb in the future if you so desire. Personally, I'd go for 2x4gb sticks at a decent frequency to help out that iGPU.
