Spec me a Point and Shoot :o0

I've got tickets for the stone roses on the Saturday of their gig dates at heaton park and I quite fancy taking a few pictures while I'm there. Only trouble is i dont fancy lugging around my SLR (if you're even allowed to have them!) but thought a discreetly hidden compact camera would do the job. Not wanting to spend too much so what are the recommendations these days around the £100 mark?

Try take a look at the Panasonic tz 7? Not the most recent of the range but was and for me still is a highly rated point and shoot.

Not sure on exact prices at current but it should be close if not hitting your budget, apologies if i am wrong though.

I'd borrow one before spending £100. Are you likely to use it after the gig? Just seems a bit of a waste that's all. At that price point they're all much of a muchness between the major brands, although don't assume they all have image stabilisation.

What I tend to do is look for ones that are discounted. Sometimes you can get a £150 camera for £100 if you look closely enough.
