Spec me a Post box.

As per title folks.

A brief search on the web/rainforest, there's a general whinge about cheap locks that break after a short time, letting the rain in, theft from them easy, going rusty after a short while etc.

I just want something to last a few years without doing the above & personal opinions of the postboxes they have.

as a postman get something thats either deep front loading or top loading with a lid so your post goes into it easy and doesnt get bent up. Make sure its deep enough to take an A4 letter as lots of places seem to use a4 to send stuff in when a folded up regular envelope would do. If it will only just fit an A4 in it it will aslso be easy to steal from.

/\/\/\ Too big TBH. @dfour Thanks for the advice. Where the postbox is going doesn't really get a huge amount of personal mail at the moment. It'll be emptied once a month if that.

Force of habit calling Amazon 'the Rainforest' After almost 13 1/2 years posting & lurking here, old habits die hard. As with most thing Amazon sell, there's so much choice its difficult to decide what to buy that meets anyone's requirements. I have a 'bad' habit of reading the negative reviews rather than the positive ones which put me off buying TBH.

They do a small version if that helps. Circa 50cm tall.
