Basically I kind of want a decent camera as I want to get into photography a little, nothing special, I certainly can't afford or want to dive into the DSLR side of things yet.

I am looking for a half-decent bridge camera maybe, one that can take RAW shots so I can mess around with editing and try my hand at that too. I can't get much cash, hence i'm looking at the lower end of the market.

I currently have about £150, and I was wondering how much more I would have to get to afford a decent bridge camera that can take RAWs?

Edit: Sorted

Hi, what do you plan on photographing? Why a bridge camera?

It's just I heard they are the half-way between DSLR and compact, which seems better for me, because I don't just want a regular compact as I want good images, but I really can't get a DSLR yet.

I don't know what I will be photographing specifically, just general things like landscape and maybe some macro shots...

Will this help

Clicky

I should add, I know not if any give you what you want

I've been searching Google for a while but many of the cheaper ones have no RAW

There is always the Sony alpha range.

I'm in the same boat as you regarding getting into photography and I've had both the a100 & a200,they don't shoot video but are good starting points for new dslr users.

I've got a a200 with 4 lenses now and live it,it's perfect for what I need.

Haven't really looked into Sony, but thanks for that i'll have a look at that range! :)
