Hi I am looking for some advice on the best way to go. Currently I game on a 1080p 60hz monitor and need a new graphics card to replace my Sapphire OC 7850.
My main aim is to get the best performance on 1080p with a view to moving to 1440p in the next year so want to get my rig ready for the upgrade by upping my PSU from the current and getting a decent GPU to give me as close to ultra on 1080p until the screen upgrade comes.

My current rig is
CPU: Intel i7 4770k
M/B: Gigabyte Sniper z87
RAM: 16gb Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz
PSU: Corsair CX600M
SSD: Samsung 840 evo 120gb

Basically want the best combination of a PSU+GPU for 1080p gaming for £300

Why not get a GPU for now and then when you up to 1440p get another GPU and a PSU? That CX600M is more than enough for a 280X

Wanting to change the PSU is more due to the fact I now have a shiny Cooler Master HAF XB to play with and I want a fully modular PSU just to make the cabling nice and tasty.
