Hello, I am starting to get the parts together for my upcoming Sandybridge E system but I am having problems deciding on a PSU. Could somebody please suggest one that will be suitable for powering a Sandybridge E system with 2 x GTX 580's, an SSD a couple of HDD's and a water loop.

Cheers in advance.

Budget? Looking at a 850W minimum. Personally I'd be looking for slightly more, just in case, so maybe 1000W.

In which case you're probably looking at one of these:

Corsair are traditionally top dogs for PSU's, however I believe OCZ have got their PSU's more 'up to scratch' as such with the ZX series.

Antecs are good. Often Seasonic built, or other good quality OEMs (delta). Usually a bit more expensive than the competition, but they will be a good match against Corsairs or Enermax.

The Antec CP line is exclusively for the Antec cases. The High Current Gamer, TruePower New, and High Current Pro are good PSUs. The HCP-1200 by Delta Electronics is a top quality unit.
