Hi there,

So My PSU is a bit rubbish I think. (not the best plan to buy one second hand really)

So I'm looking for another one, I'm thinking 1k wats as it needs to rub a clocked i7 + 2 470s (soon to be clocked) and 4 hdds + two water cooling loops(two pumps) plus 11 120mm fans and another 3 140mm fans + lights.

So bassically it needs to run allot.. so min I thought would be 1k

Anyways I'm look for be braided or all black wires as well, I saw a review with a PSU with this, but for the life of me I can't rememeber what it was...

Thanks for all your help!

850 will defo be enough...? Awesome!

OK I guess i wasn't too clear, im looking for single cable braiding (if possible) or all black wires(which I have seen just change remember what it was!!)

Cheers!

nope i mean single cable braiding (i want modular too as well) but i dont want to braid the cables on a new PSU.. normally cables come braided grouped together like the XFX but it meants that the cables can been seen at the end near the connectors.

Now I know a psu exists were all the single cables are black without any braiding but of cause there would be no need for it. I would happily go with that but I cant remember what the psu make/model was! =(

Any ideas of a psu you like this?

Cheers.

Yup thats braided in a group. so not quite what I am looking for =)

im looking for something along the lines of either this

or if there is nothing out there like this.. then if possible, where the actaul cable colours are all black.

They are awesome cables, but its about 7 to 10 pounds a cable, and i would need 6.... Also my back panel is custom and so you can see through it and you would see the coloured wires at the connectors. But the PSU you found me is Awesome, and i'll stick with that =)

Just to make doubly sure...

My OC'ed system with 14 fans + lights + pumps.... 850 is deffinately enough? =)

Actually, 14 fans and other stuff does sound a lot:(

Do you mind the odd blue plastic connector? - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-012-CS&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1084

Apart from that there really is nothing else at OCUK with cabling like you want, the Bequiets have exposed cabling after the braid, the Coolermaster silent pro gold are the same.

Or you spend £224 - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-029-CS&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1084

Heh yea i thought it might be a bit much for 850 watt. Think i might save up for the 1200 =)

never mind

Not saying i disagree with you, seriously i know you guys know more about this stuff than me =)

But i just want to get the mavity of what i am running here.. and everything will be OC'ed...

i7 950 rampage II (OC'ed to 4.2)
2 x 470 (To be OCed to what ever I can get them too on water)
6g mem
1 SDD + 3 HDD
2 Sifttech 18w pumps
approximately 65 LEDs (4 in each fan plus an LED strip)
11 acrtic cooling F12 fan
3 NTXZ 9 blade 140mm fans
DVD drive
2 x fan controllers
G510 keyboard, G500 mouse, G35 headset (all powered via USB)

so thats a lot of pull on an 850wat PSU... but if its enoug.. thats Great =)
