As title need a psu which is quite has modular cabling and that's about it. Needs to be reliable and 500w +

no hypers there carpppp..

Do you have a budget here or is it a case of anything goes? If no budget then I'd probably recommend a Corsair 520w or 620w, depending on how much load you intend to put on it. The Corsairs are based on the Seasonic M12 design but supposedly built to even higher standards. :)

Very, very, very quiet, in fact I would say it was virtually silent!!!

I tried a few Enermax Liberty's as well, seem just as good however I think the modular cabling is better on the Tagens (Libertys cable is naff).

Sounds good to me,

Running amd 64 x2 4200, Geforce 6800, 3 x sata hard drive, laing water pump and 5*120mm fans but only running at very low speeds.

How many watts do you reckon I need.

Wont be upgrading until I get a new system..
