What the best psu 600 to 700watt availible at the moment?

is the Seasonic S12 Energy+ 650W Silent ATX2.0 a good choice?

Yes, it's a good choice if you want a non-modular PSU.

The 'best' is probably slightly subjective but amongst the best it certainly is. I'd also suggest the Corsair HX620w which is basically a Seasonic M12 so is modular but a shade cheaper than the Seasonic I think.

I have just ordered one of those myself. A bargain at £99.75 inc delivery. I have been looking around for a replacement psu now for a couple of weeks after my Hiper blew and was going to get the OCZ Gamestream 700w until i came across the Seasonic S12 Energy+ 650W. At over 85% efficiency you can't go wrong.
