Was considering the Corsair HX 620W any better options....... or cheaper?

Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB)

Asus P5N32-E SLi nForce 680 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit

BFG GeForce 8800 GTX OC 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)

Tagan has good CS and offer nextday replacement so might be something to think about.

the setup you have i'd get a 700watts PSU it power the system and dont be working at full which means less noise from fan

Would that be ok with the 8800 gtx?
IMO even the HX520 will be good enough, unless you plan to go dual/SLi ;)

BFG GeForce 8800 GTX OC requires 32A on the +12V Rail & the Corsair HX520 has 40A :)
