Hi Guys

A little rusty on the PC hardware front so need some advice on a new PSU. Currently have a Hiper Type R but I think its on its way out.

System Spec is
3800 x2
2gb DDR (4x512)
1x SATA HDD
1x PATA HDD
1x SATA DVD-r
Audigy 2 ZS
Extra NIC
Radeon 1950 XT PCIe

Looking to spend not much more than £65, need some thing reliable and quiet.

What can you come up with?

Cheers mate, A little over budget, I have to try to get this past the missus.

What are the OCZ PSU's like the one on this week only looks a good deal.

I believe that the OCZ psu's are good - certainly the special offer one for price.:D

Would have reccomended the corsair myself BUT do not like the look of the RMA to the states - see 'corsair rma' thread in gen hardware section.

Another vote for the Corsair.
BTW you do not have to RMA the item to the USA, as stated in the other thread your contract is with the retailer not the manufacturer.

To explain ref Corsair RMA - Back to USA
For thre first year you would take it back to seller.
But the HX seies come with a 5yr Manufacturers warranty which is not , I believe (although I may be wrong) administered by O'clockers and therefore after the first year you would have to use company's Rma procedure i.e. (at the moment it seems) back to the USA.
I have not had first hand experience of the above - maybe someone who has could advise - but from the info I have my interpretaion is , I believe, correct
