Need a cheap as possible PSU for a cheap build.

E6300 @2.8GHz
2GB Ram (will need 4, but doubt this will have much impact)
A single HD
ATI 4890.

28A on a single rail - is this going to be enough? According to the internet, the 4890 peaks at nearly 23A alone.

Interesting. I thought most PSU makers these days didn't add rails together to make the rating of the PSU sound better.

I don't think a HD4890 draws as much power as 276W though, 2 x 6 PCI-E connectors (75W each) plus the slot (75W) only adds up to 225W. I think it pulls about 200W, so 17A.

The sapphire (2nd link) is a really nice PSU and could last through an upgrade or two, but it is more expensive than the corsair and it all depends on how much money you want to spend

Ordered a CX500 - more than I really wanted to spend, but I guess its a little peace of mind, and hopefully a bit of future proofing.
