My OCZ 600W Stealth X Stream, has bitten the dust. It was only 3 months old so I got a refund at least.

My case is a Lian Li A05 giving me 197mm for the PSU, this all the way up to the motherboards edge.

I'm running 2 ATI 5870's possibly a 3rd, AMD X4 OC'd to 4.4Ghz, 1 SSD might be a 2nd, 1 Optical drive, 2 Laing DDc's and some very high powered Yate Loon 140mm fans. Not a lot really.

Would love a modular PSU so i have less case clutter, cables to hide.

Silent would be ideal, the YL 140's are on an external setup and unless benching will be running @ 5v/7v.

What size PSU should I get and whats a good one?

Thanks

If you're going to brush away and ignore great suggestions, then fine. Go with the unit you've obviously decided on already, then come back to us when it blows up.

I juat built a 2500K rig using an XFX 750W. I don't thinks its noisy. Also XFX PSU's have at least 4 PCie connectors which is handy meaning you dont have to use molex convertors hence making your cable management a lot better.
