Can anyone suggest a suitable modular power supply for my rig, my present 650Watt Jeantech psu seems to on it's way out.

i5 2500k @ 4.4 ghz
4 x DDR3 ram
1 X Sata DVDRW
1 X Sata hard drive
1 X SSD drive
1 X Geforce 9800GTX+ graphics card (2 x 6 pin sockets)
USB all in one printer & scanner
USB webcam
1 X 120mm case fan

Theres only one modular PSU in stock for a good price - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=ca-167-cm&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1103

review - http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews/620/pg1/cooler-master-silent-pro-m-500w-introduction.html

The power consumption of an entire system with that card is only around 300Watts - http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforce-9800-gtx-512mb-plus-review/3

And being a decent 500W PSU it will handle most single graphic card solutions:) easily, so future upgrades wont be a problem.

the 9800GTX+ is actually quite a gas guzzler (considering its age). Funny I used to have the exact setup. Jeantec PSU and a 9800GTX+.

If you are planning on upgrading later, a 650W (XFX Core, XFX XXX, Corsair TX), or if you just want something decent, a OCZ 600W, or a XFX Core 550W. I recon a BeQuiet Pure L7 530W will also do, but limits your options if you want to upgrade GPU / overclock.

Whoops, missed the modular part. Yeah, stulid's suggestion is good. Personally I'd want a bit higher wattage to have some space for upgrades, so I'd probably go with a Corsair HX or the XFX XXX series, they're basically the same thing.

Thanks for the quick replies guys looking at both units I think I'll be going for the Corsair TX650 psu even though it's not modular. I'll probably be upgrading the GPU in the not too distant future.
