Hi,

I want to upgrade my PSU so I can overclock my CPU/GPU in time for GTA V. I have a i5 3570k, R9 280x, 3 HDD's, 1 SSD, fans/soundcard and stuff, all powered by a Corsair 500W Bronze Rated PSU. Before my R9 280x (months and months ago) I did have a 7850, which was overclocked with my CPU, ever since getting the 280x I can't overclock nowhere near what I was used to, so with GTA 'round the corner I don't think there is a better time to upgrade my PSU, and I'm getting back into Arma 3 and a OC'd CPU helps a lot! I've been looking at a SuperFlower 650W GOLD Modular, on this weeks deals for £75. Is it worth it/overkill/something better?

Cheers!
Luke :)

You could get away with a 550W, but the 650W Leadex is very nice indeed

For crossfire you could look at an 850W if you were ever going to go for that

I got the Antec 700w semi modular PSU. Its only a bronze though. Was 70 quid off here. Should've been 90. Not sure if the offer is still on.

Thats a great PSU.

Not much better on offer with the same quality internals.

Did you want the option to go Crossfire? if so you need a 850W PSU.
