Flatout - ultimate carnage!

got this game in the steam sales and have been playing it a lot and would like more games like it
i like the 'carnage' side of it, the ability to ram others off the road while racing :D (and get points for it)

Has to be Burnout Paradise, nothing comes close.

There is Need for Speed Shift, you get aggression points for ramming into cars, cant think of much else.

Also "Blur" and Split/Second.

You could go back in time and get the destruction derby games, maybe theyre on gog.com

have played burnout already and also split second, they were fun

not really looking for NFS games now, these are only good for 'normal' racing, used to play these all the time but the newer ones have just put me off these

played blur, i thought i would like this but it just dosn't seem as fun as i thought it would be :(
i liked the advert for it, with the old mario kart style characters :)

Ive been playing a lot of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit lately and its actually really good. The multiplayer pits four cops against four racers, the racers have to reach the end of the course while the cops ram the crap out of them, call in road blocks, helicopters and drop spike strips. Had some great battles online and as its been made by Criterion the crashing is top notch.

FlatOut (was 59p in Steam sales I think)
Crashday (not as good but similar style)

To be honest FO:UC is arguably the best game of it's type.... great graphics, performance, physics, tracks, crashes etc etc

sounds like a modern version of need for speed - high stakes for the psx and i liked the cop chases in that so maybe ill give it a go online if the price drops

The new Need for speed hot persuit - Fantastic game. Fun as the cops too

I really enjoyed Flatout and Flatout 2. Need for speed you are able to ram people off the road. I didnt get on with Burnout Paradise, but I suppose it was worth the £3.70 I paid for the boxset
