spec me a razor

How long does each 'Isreali' blade last? 10 for £5.99 is a lot cheaper than the Wilkinson Sword Quattro blades I'm using at the moment.

Also, anyone recommend any soap / lather?

Would say Mach 3 Turbo, but the blades for a pack of 4 is nearly £10.

I'm fairl new to the shaving game (unfortunatly and it all grows from my sideburns down lol) and thus am learning and the like. Would it be worth me getting one of these Merkur razors?

Oh and also how about an open razor (ya know the barber ones) they any good?
