right for the last 6 months, once a month i go to the barbers, and they just shave me tiny mustash and pubic scrawny beard... :( (wow its hurts just typing it)

now im a late bloomer (cheers god:rolleyes:) and 18, and off to uni in october, so i guess i have to learn how to shave :mad:

so first step is first...... which razor do i buy, and how much do i spend?

secondly.....i have been scissoring me pubes, shoudl i continue, or shoudl i just get dispoables for them?

razor blades are stupidly expensive but I have to buy them as the misses makes me save...

I do how ever think that Mac 3 is quite good

Mach 3 works well and is quick, but blades are expensive and it tends to pull a bit.

I use a fixed head safety razer (Parker and Merkur make decent ones for £15), they're a little difficult to get used to but give a better shave and the blades only cost about £6 for 50 good ones.
 
I use the cheap disposable 3 blade razors. The gillete ones are stupidly expensive. So exspensive that wilko's put them by the tills to stop the local chavs nickin them.
 
stealth fusion for me, great shave as i love a close shave but im having to source something else as i have chronic problems with ingrown hair on my neck after a close shave, nasty little sopts that need popped and the offending hair removed from inside that tends to be 5mm longer than the rest on my face an about 1mm thicker aswell.
Was thinking about a really good dry shave to combat this, would be intresting to hear what you fellas have to say about this and if any of you get this problem?
 
Damian , i use both wet and dry shave i still get ingrown hairs too atm im finding the stealth to be the better shave than my dry shaver

my dry shaver is : Philips Nivea for Men Shaver HS8040
 
I used a Mach3 Turbo up until last summer when I picked up a Fusion, both very good razors. Just make sure you get a decent shaving foam/gel and aftershave balm.

Are there sites for the two above mentioned razors? That you can buy them from I mean? I just use an old mach 3 with new blades every so often...but sometimes my neck gets a bit aggitated...Unless I soak it for a while with soap or something.

But even that doesn't work all of the time.
 
Gillitte fusion is the best tbh although frigging expensive. I tend to use mach 3 turbo if I'm feeling stingier.
