Hi, I'm feeling a little underpowered by my old tagen 480 - there are definate flutuations of 1/2v on the 5v rail, and slight overclocking is not even a possibility.

I'm going to go conroe (or whatever's hot) over the next half year or so.

Can you recommend something around 550-600w thats high quality, relatively future proofed, super stable on a loaded system, and probably won't be used for sli.

Edit - don't worry about budget

Non-modular:

Seasonic S12 Energy 650 -- 52A on +12 rail, 80+ efficiency, quiet 120mm fan, 3 year warranty.

Modular:

Corsair HX620W -- 50A on +12V rail, 80+ efficiency, quiet 120mm fan, flexible modular cables, 5 year Corsair warranty :D

Well I bet that has cleared it up for you ;) Basically the reason for the varying choices is that they are all high quality PSUs and easily capable, I believe Seasonic and Corsair share the same modular system e.g. Corsair PSUs are made to the same design as the Seasonic modulars. If you get any of the above PSUs you can't really go wrong.
