I need a wired print server so share my usb printer on the network (I will hunt you down if you say the word "CUPS") - anyone got any recommendations on what's reliable, small, doesn't necessarily need a power supply and isn't going to break the bank?

Have you had a look at NAS boxes? Just that, some people arent aware that NAS storage comes with built in print servers in some of them, and if you were looking for storage as well can kill two birds an all that. Just thought Id mention in case.
id be using one of these new wireless USB hubs that are kicking round at the mo
only way to do it cheaply i reckon, as the obvious candidate (a HP Jetdirect box) is prolly too expensive for you. Jet Direct 175x is about £150.
Belkin USB wireless hub is £60 ish and enables the sharing of any USB device, so prolly a bit more usefull.
