Spec me a replacement car

Hi Chaps,

I'm looking at getting a replacement car. Budget is between 5k and 7k. At the moment I'm just getting ideas before focusing on a specific type. Work is about 10 miles away from me so not a huge commute.

Current ideas are:

More sensible:

Mazda 6 2l Diesel
Alfa Romeo 159 1.9 JTDM

Justification for Diesel is torque and the occasional road trip.

Less sensible (but more fun..)

BMZ Z4 2.0/2.5 (3.0L too much on insurance)
Ford Focus ST
Toytoa Celica T-Sport
Nissan 350z

Ideally, I'd like a 2 seater/coupe. But I understand with my budget this may get me much older models.

I have not looked for a long time, but I'd imagine a Celica T sport 190 would be under £5k now.... So you can save some money if you go for one of those.

I quite liked the drive of them, but it is very marmite due to being Jap Plastic Fantastic inside...
