So after playing the Resident Evil 5 demo, I really want to play Resi 4 as I missed out on it at release and never got round to playing it.

I'm not sure which version to get though.

Wii? - I've heard mainly good things, but apparently the controls make it tricky at times?

Gamecube? - I'd be playing this on the Wii, but I'd have to by a GC controller and memory card. Is it worth it though?

PC? - Never really considered it as an option, but it is much cheaper than the other two solutions. Any good on PC or would I be missing out?

Ta in advance. ;)

You own a Wii and no Gamecube pad? You dont play Mario Kart and smash bros with the cruddy Wii remote do you.

I would get the Cube one, real control over waving Wii remotes anyday.

Get it on the Wii the controls are spot on and it comes with all the content of the ps2 version.

Since you have a Wii it makes sense to get that version, and if you don't like the pointy controls just plug the classic controller in and you can play it like normal.

i have played it on the wii, ps2, gamecube and PC (love re :D). i would go for the pc version since the graphics look superb but if you want controls over graphics's then go for the gamecube one (i mean controller).

Get the Resident Evil with 2 in the title ;)

PS2 version of Resident Evil 4 is alright though if you insist on it being 4 :(

I still have black borders on mine on the left and right hand sides. :o

I agree with Kyle009 actually, get Resident Evil 2. It's far better. :p

What i mean is it not letter box like it was on the gamecube, were you had black borders on the top and bottom.

As I said in my OP I missed out on Resi 4 when it was released, I've already done the rest of them. :)

PS2 version is out, as my PS3 isn't old enough for any of that and I'm not really up for buying a console for a single game at the moment.

I've actually ordered the Wii version now, my fears of the controls being naff have been put to rest. Thanks guys!
