Just testing the waters really. My current rig just packed in so its either replace what's gone bad (CPU or Mobo) or get a bit of an upgrade.

So the PC will be used for gaming mostly played at a max of 1920x1080 so I would like to have something fairly capable.

I will be keeping my GTX 460 and 530w PSU so I only need the following.

CPU
Mobo
Ram
Cooler

Budget is £400. Thanks

Both HD's are sata

BeQuiet 530w PSU

Cooler Master Centurion 5

I would like SLI/Crossfire. Am I correct in thinking that some boards can do both? If so are they any good if not then I think SLI is my best option as I will be keeping my GTX. Thanks

The gigabyte board in my second spec does both sli/crossfire.

3 year warranty, uk based rma center.

Its also full size ATX, so better than a mATX board for card layout.

Well Im back again. So I put off upgrading for a bit as I have just moved into my 1st home. But I will be coming into a bit on money soon (not much mind) and since I have waited I can up my budget to about £600 maybe a bit more for the right gear. So Im looking at getting

GPU - I do like my games to have all the eye candy and I cant see myself playing at anything more than 1920x1080. Not fussed if its NVidia or AMD

CPU - Would like an Intel CPU

PSU

Mobo - Think I would like something that will do SLI/Crossfire

Ram

Case

Thanks
