If you’re going to go Socket 775(For some silly Reason), would Choose the http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-119-GI as it seems good for the Price (its X48 and only £100, the only way to put it is OMG!)

Would it not be worth looking for the AMD 955, as apparently The Reviews show it roughly the same as i7 for gaming, and much cheaper?
