PCIe v3 is sufficient, but v4 is better.
I have a PCIe x4 slot (x16 form factor) I wish to use on my mATX motherboard. The problem is that the slot is covered by my GPU. So I need a riser cable with an immediate right-angle. I can find riser cables that have a right-angle where the card plugs in, but not one with a right-angle where it plugs into the motherboard. Best would be one which also has a right-angle socket for the card, but the card can be half-height so it's not a must. Can you find one for me?
