Spec me a router

Hi guys have the Asus RT-N65U and for some reason the wireless is terrible on it. I have been in touch with Asus and they say it may need replacing or I may get a refund.

So which other router can you recommend? This is the first Asus I have had and it's not been a smooth experience.

This is interesting as I've been having issues with mine too.
Terrible speeds and horrible streaming problems from my NAS setup.

The router was about 12 - 15 feet from the machine it was streaming to.

I found by moving it 6 feet towards my machine I got a 15MB increase in line speed lol.

Figured it was just the thick walls..

I have had it moved to 3 different locations in the house and its just the same thick walls or not
