Spec me a Samsung Green replacement

I just went on OCUK to look for an extra 8GB to add to my existing 8GB of Samsung Green to see its not available

So recommendations for replacement RAM please?

Low profile, easy to overclock.

I had my Samsung at 1866mhz, CPU is [email protected]

What do you use your system for, 8gb is plenty for most tasks.

What he means is do the modules use Samsung DRAM chips.

Aaah okay, thanks. About that, I'm not really sure, but I don't think they would, no. However if you ran them in a different channel I don't think they would interfere with each other, though I may be wrong?

are these samsung ic?

If they are, I doubt they're PC17100 or PC19200 but probably just PC10600, but there's a slight chance the PC19200 modules use PC12800 ICs.

Most stuff seems to be using hynix ics atm.

Tbh at the most you should be looking at is 2133mhz (if so a good 9-11-10 kit) but a decent 1866 kit would also be fine and leave you some oc head room.

~2200mhz is about the best sandy bridge will do, even then it needs a super strong imc.

As for samsung ic, most 2400/2600 10-12-12 kits should be samsung (tg extreme/gskill trident x/dom plat).

The corsair venge pro I believe are Samsung
