My home team is Crystal Palace (that is where I am from) but for the last 25 years or so I have cheered on Rangers as my "Scottish Team"

With the current attitude of the SFA and also the majority of those associated with the club I don't feel I can support them any longer.

I need to find a new club in Scotland to look out for. I don't want to associate with any club that is associated with anything really other than football. Celtic are out as are Hibs & Hearts.

As a Palace fan I am not a glory hunter so open to all sort of suggestions.

What sort of things do Dundee Utd have in their favour?

At the moment there is something drawing me towards St. Johnstone.

Deny, deflect, deny. It's the Rangers way.

I just don't understand how any Catholic can support a team where your fellow supporters are claiming to be up to their knees in your blood.

Maybe because I have no interest in any of that carry on and am only interested in the football?

But if you have no interest, why support Rangers in the first place?

I had no interest in the non football ****.

I supported them as I liked a lot of the players they had at the time. This was during the Souness years and they had a lot of top English players. Terry Butcher, Trevor Steven, Gary Stevens, Mark Hateley and the like. These were England internationals. As an England fan I simply followed the team that had more England internationals in it.

I did actually consider Brechin and will be keeping an eye on their results.

I am hoping to go up to the Orkneys at some point this year and if I do I might pop into Brechin en route.
