Spec me a screen for general use

You're right, it did work :p

I just thought it wouldn't as the laptop was so old but turns out it can produce 1920 x 1080

Will order the Samsung later tomorrow I think :) Just gotta see, might be getting a second hand monitor from somebody instead. If not I will get the Samsung
 
Got the monitor the other day ... Seems very good for the price, nice picture and really thin and light! :D
