I currently have a Hazro HZ27WC but need a second monitor for my uni work to save so much alt-tabbing.

I preferably would like one that rotates so I can have it in portrait mode.

I don't mind second hand and it doesn't need to be IPS or of great quality as will mainly just be used to display word documents and internet pages.

Any particular models I should be looking at?

Thanks

It doesn't matter too much to be honest. Not too big as I don't want it towering above the Hazro. Just something that will look about right sat next to the 27".

I take it you mean portrait, as all monitors are by default landscape. :)

If you want something cheap and cheerful that rotates, 2nd hand Dells on eBay that come from office clear outs are usually a good bet.

You are quite correct, that's exactly what I meant! I'll edit the original post so I don't look so much of a numpty. :)

Are there any model of Dells that are particularly recommended?

They're all much of the same - it's just picking a size if you do a vague search of "dell XX monitor" on ebay, just make sure they come with the dell stand, and you check out that it has rotation, but they go anywhere from £50-90 dependent on size\quality.

But all of the Dell business monitors are pretty good for what they are, I'm typing on a 19" one right now at work, picture quality is good, it's a 1909W, 1440x900 res. Good enough for general word processing\web pages etc.

I ended up going for a Dell U2212HM in the end. Pretty happy with it, it's IPS so in portrait mode viewing angles are still good.

It's quite tall compared to the Hazro when rotated but tbh it works pretty well, especially for PDFs, docs and webpages.
